Power up your profile and get know for what you do in February with Penny's Fameuary Challenge! All this month we'll be setting practical goals to help you share your expertise.
Challenge No.1 - What are your campaign issues?
Identify your two or three pet subjects that you are knowledgable about and that are useful to other people. These will be subjects to which you can 'attach' yourself. When trying to identify these topics, ask yourself 'what do I want to get known for?'.
I call these your 'campaign issues', as if you were running for mayor. So what would your voters be interested in?
Once you've identified them, take some action. Find a relevant story from the news, or a feature or blog post. Then comment and share it on your social feed. If you are feeling brave, why not write your own blog or LinkedIn post, incorporating the link to the original story (from a trusted news source of course, no fakery here).
Don't forget to include #Fameuary

If you want to be a best-kept secret, then step away from this book. But if you recognise the value of raising your profile for your business or career, then step up – because now is the right time for you to make yourself a little bit famous.
